remove rev limiter
 

Is the rev limiter removeable? maybe a wire or something that tells it to stop. Cut it and connect to an LED and boom you've got a shift light (if you want to shift at 7000 rpm). Like the vtec light.

ops I mean FAQ, nope the rev limiter is not removeable via a simple wire cut bull ---- thing, The only way I know to highen/remove the rev limiter is with turboedit or another EMS, whay would you wana remove your rev limiter?

Just buy a shift light if you want a shift light

removing your rev limiter if your car isn't specifically tuned for higher RPMs is pretty retarded. When you reach the top of your gear, the reason the rev limit is there is to stay in your safe operating range, and in your most efficient part of your powerband. AND, the factory ECU doesn't have fuel/ignition maps tuned for higher RPMs.

Cliff notes: Don't remove rev limit if it's not built for it. you'll ---- yourself.

Never, under any circumstances should you ever remove the rev limiter! Building the engine is no excuse. Choose an operating range and stick to it, because if you don't have a rev limiter you WILL destroy your engine if the drivetrain fails or you miss a shift. You should always have some sort of a rev limiter, anyone who says otherwise knows nothing about high power engines.

What he said. It sucks to accidentally rev to 10k, float some valves and put them through the middle of your $700 pistons.

whats the best way to make sure you dont hit the rev limiter while your under boost. i would rather over rev a little(few 100rpm) than bounce and lean out. i plan on using uberdata any feature in it that can help me
