Default Rechipped ECU

Well since I have a 88 Si ECU I'm not going to be able to re-chip it. I have an extra 1991 HF ECU, i was wondering if I could re-chip that? Thanx.

With the ECU connectors to the left hand side, look at the EEPROMs. If the second one from the bottom is a 228-pin, 256K EEPROM, then yes.

I don't know this ECU off the top of my head, but it is possible.

Both of those ECUs can be chipped, but require someone with somewhat uncommon 40-pin MCU burners or adapters to fit said chips to their existing burner.

My friend is a Hondata dealer and he has a chip burner, but I think it will be easier to just burn a ship for the HF woudnt it? Also, using ghettodyne how can I compisate for the extra 8 valves (HF= 8 Valves; Si=16 valves). Can somebody give a guideline to follow when reprogramming this ecu? (I'm sorry to ask these questions, but I feel hopeless )

valve are not controlled by the ecu..
the differencece is the amount of fuel added is different between 8 and 16 valves because 16 valves lets more air in.

oh thanx, I feel like a dumb *** after that simple answer. Can somebody mentor me or send me the settings for the chip I'm going to make (ghettodyne), I will have DSM 440 cc injectors, 8 psi(TDO4L)intercooled, around 8.8 or 9.0 compression ratio, and I have no idea how many degrees to retard? I've read some posts but I'm I have a disability to understand you guys . Thanx
