I was wondeirng what would be a good EMS that I can use that is not rediculously expensive that I can manipulate while going down the road. I am currently integrating my computer into my car and I am looking for some for of managemnt that I can use that I can hook up and monitor while I am going down the road. Will this work on OBD2A. I have been looking around and it sounds great. I am very interested.

Nope...OBD0

For OBD2A I would say Uberdata or perhaps Chrome from a cost standpoint. (You would have to convert down to OBD1 however)

If I was going to pay money I would go with the AEM EMS...a very nice system full of features.

Well, i jsut read chacko's post with the link in it to the guy who installed the serial port into the ecu, but it really doesnt explain whats going on. What is all involved when setting up the ecu so taht it can be edited right on teh spot, without having to burn a chip, and replace, burn a chip and replace. What is all involved when setting it so i can jsu turn on teh laptop and edit it right there, without pulling the chip.
