Why would you put a BTM in a Honda? THere are so many ROM editors and chipping is so easy. Hope that helps you. :P

WOW that distributor is JDM fuckmullet spec.

Care to kick me an ECU pinout for your car? I might be able to help you with a distributor swap, which would cost less than that BTM.

If you really really really want to run that BTM :l then remove some of that ---- occluding the coil... if it is like every single last *other* Honduh coil, it will have + and - markings where the wires hook to the coil. Black/yel *should* be positive, I forget the other wire color going to the negative terminal. As far as the "white" wire, I suspect that is the IGO output from the ECU that tells the coil when to fire, and it might not be white depending on the year of your car. You need to intercept that IGO signal, feed it to the BTM, and have the BTM feed the other end of the IGO wire that connects to the distributor (ignitor).

will read it later..... late for work....

The firing signal wire from the ecu should be black with a white stripe. you can check with a test light. just put one end of the test light to the 12v positive on the battery and the other end to the wire you think could be the ecu signal wire and then bump the key the ecu sends a negetive signal so the test light will flash if you have the right one.

and the coil wires are easy like the other guy said they should be marked on the coil and if not use a test light to make sure if it's pos or neg.

Try that diagram, I know its not your exact dizzy or the BTM (its a Digital-6), but it should be very similar.

Good luck!

If your going with crome or uberdata great. But imo a BTM could solve the timing advance problems when running a safc.
It would work but not as well as some of the free programs.

But the free programs really aren't free. to use them you still have to buy a wideband and a chip burner. And possibly a laptop if you don't have one. Not to mention you still have to buy the chipped ecu from someone. You could buy the kit from xenocron for less then 30 bucks but I'm going to guess if you can't wire up a btm then you probably can't chip an ecu.

So really non of this stuff is free.
