quik crome/ tune q

right now i have my car running on a base map i made on crome w/turbo efficiency a 140% and retard at 1.00 deg.
you think i could put the timming retard at .9 - .85 ? or should i just ------ leave it?
it runs fine now w/black smoke in boost. and a bit of a funky idle when its warmed up.
thanks

it all very much depends on what sort of setup and motor he is running.
