Default question for turboef9

I'm running 200cc injectors compared to 176cc. To set my percentage settings on my SAFC, should I start with 7% and work my way up each percentage for every 1000 rpm? I'm looking into larger injectors very soon, I'm only running 2-3 psi right now. Then I can run higher boost in the future. I need your knowledge to see if I'm setting this right.

Thank you

Your formula is: 1 - 176 / 200

=12%

And don't forget, that is -12%, not +12%

Oh yeah, that is for stock pressure. For 2-3 psi, I'd start at 0%. I'm not sure what formula you'd use tho for that pressure, and it will also depend on what turbo you are using.

Altho, honestly, if you set it at 0, the ecu will see boost. You need larger injectors anyway. :P

Ok, once again I needed to slow down and read. On a honda I know you will see boost (I was wondering which honda had 176cc :P). On a Toyota, I have no idea how it will react. I would imagine it will not be any better, since the corolla isn't supposted to be boosted.

i'm running an IHI RBH5 turbo

I redid the math and it did come out to -12%.

I know I need larger injectors, but just wanted other peoples thoughts on tuning with the SAFC.

Your right, my MAP sensor is seeing boost. It flipped the CEL and threw out vacuum sensor code. I'll try to play with my settings. I currently have 4 check valves t'd off the MAP sensor.

At around 3300rpm's, the car takes off very well. I'm thinking it goes into open loop and throwing a good amount of fuel in the engine. The A/F reads towards the rich side.

Thanks for the reply. Anyone thoughts you may be thinking?
