pw0 vs chipped pm6

Which would be better for a obd0 crx with b16, chipped pm6 or the original pw0? or would it be the same? I'm planning on boost in the near future and I already have a socketed pm6 is the only reason I'm consdering this. Can you use BRE on the pm6 or is that specific for pw0/pr3?

BRE supports NG60 code I believe so you can use the PM6 with it (not sure about 1-wire VTEC).

The PW0 would be better to use in my opinion though.

Well, your opinion matters to me so pw0 it is. But just out of curiosity, if I have this pw0 socketed isn't it going to be using the same bin as the pm6 would to run the b16 with BRE?

Personally, Id use the PW0. Boost support is solid, and if your running a B16 w/ a Pm6, you only get two RPM break points for the entire high cam. (6300 and 7400 IRC)
I wouldnt consider that bad, as you could still get a decent fuel curve going, but theres no reason not to use a PW0 in my book.

Good luck with it.

Cool. the only reason is I was even considering this is because I already have the socketed pm6 and was trying to save some cash.
