Problem with zdyne

Last night I went ahead and installed my zdyne and for some reason when I try to load a program it gives me a eaccess error a shuts down? Does the comp need to be in the car? Anybody ever expericence this?

Re:Problem with zdyne

It either needs t be in the car, or needs to have 12v power hooked up. Bottom line, the ECU needs power.

What error code?

You mean the error message? ..the one you got because the computer wasn't powered on and the BinHacker program couldn't access the ECU?

Oh, I'm not sure...

Is there a "Read" function in Zdyne? I haven't use that garbage in a long time.

You CANNOT have the ecu plugged into the laptop when you turn the laptop on... bottom line.
