You run into issues with y8's and obd1 tuning, mostly dealing with the timing that JD can fully elaborate on. I honestly don't see why you'd want to lower your vtec engagement point, but hey...it's your car and perogative. Because you're still pretty well set on running obd2, best bet probably would be to get a vafc. The afc pretty much tricks the ecu into thinking vtec isn't engaged when it is and you can add a fuel correction to it for a vtec mismatch as well. But because you're running a fmu, I'm going to assume you have check valves or a missing link ( ) so your afc would really be useless for tuning boost.

hmmm if you are making 200whp that tranny has to be hating life. The jet systems on the automatic transmissions in the EX have a tendancy to swell the seals when the fluid gets broken down, i.e. subjecting that much torque through the stock jet. No use changing the fluid either, then the seals just crack two weeks after you change it and then the whole tranny blows fluid around. Not a 100% though, ask bone.
