Can i chip an ecu from an 89 crx hf? i think its a pr4. Thanks ~scott~

It's a PM8, and (at the risk of those willing to jump in my ---- for a literal debate) no.

It uses the MCU to run the code not the external EEPROM.

ok..what i'm trying to do is do a multi point swap on my 88 crx dx..but i need to be able to chip the ecu also..What cars with multi point also allow me to chip? thanks man

90-91 PM6, 90-91 PS9, 90-91 PR4, and JDM PM7 are the easiest to get ahold of.
