Possibly bad ecu or socket?
 

I have a obd0 pm6 that is socketed and tuned using TE. when i start the car it throws a code 0 which is bad ecm/ecu. should i start by installing a chip with another copy of the tune or look for some type of other symptom

How about bad burn? Maybe forgot to erase the chip before burning to it too.

if you have a chip backwards it wont even start...its a bad burn dude...if not then its the ecu cause whoever soldered it in pooched it.
