Default pm6 chippable?

I have a 88 si pm6 ecu. part # (37820-pm6-L040) to be exact. Ive read some posts that say this ecu isnt chippable and others that say all honda ecu's are chippable. I'm new to tuning so i just want to make sure before i buy a 90-91 ecu.

Don't bother trying to much with that pm6. Just get the 90-91 28eprom chippable ones.
