I got this ecu from a junkyard becuase I need a 90-91 to chip.I turned the wastegate actuator all the way open so its not boosting until I chip my ecu for boost well yesterday I finally got around to fabing up a homemade intake and I took it for a drive to make sure everything was good no leaks or anything.I usually listen to the engine when I shift but this time I watched the tach and it went to 8000+ rpm.I know its not chipped already I checked it yesterday.
Any ideas?

PM6 stock fuel cut (rev limit) is 7413.
