Jesus christ that scared the ---- out of me. I had my speakers turned way up.
No I have not tested them. I would not waist my money on them to test. This would fall into the same category as the electric turbo. ::) __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |
Re:piggy back' chips?
yeah don't do it... they're just one of those stupid things that makes your ecu think its -20degress out and then it puts more gas and advances the timing a little. they're worthless

Re:piggy back' chips?
a friend bought this "kit" just to prove to a bunch of guys on the mr2 board what it was.... he showed a pic of this "kit" it was a resistor taped to a paper saying something to the extent of "wire this between the water sensor and the ecu"
i know in the toyota prformance book/bible it says something about this kinda thing except using a nob so you can "tune" the resistance and increase how rich or lean it is... in theory you could wirse some sort of progressive switch to progress w/ boost... would work... but not ideal mark |
Re:piggy back' chips?
old school tuning. Yea, the toyotas have one for 50 bucks. its a variable resistor and and a/f ratio meter...pretty cool idea...but cheap and fun to make.
