"PIC" Resistor wireing...did I do it wrong
ok, I read the FAQ sectoin on this, the thread in HOnda-tech, and it just confused me becuase about ten different people said something different. I wired mine like the pic below
I connected the 4 wires FROMthe injectors to the 4 black wire to the resistor box, then the 4 remaning wires that i cut off the clip all into the red wire. My car starts, and drives fine, but it's running too rich, almost like it's staying in open loop flooding my engine at cruise. I can't find out my problem, so I'm rechecking EVERYTHING I did. Was I suppost to connect all of the 4 remaining wires into the red, or just one of them and tape off the remainging three?

Ok I would ditch the resistor box. Buy 4 10w 10ohm resistors at radio shack. Solder 1 resistor per 1 of each yellow black wire. Cut each of the yellow black wires 1 inch after the fi connector and solder one end of the cut wire to one end of the resistor and the other yellow black wire to the other end of the resistor. Get some black wire loom and put it over the resistor and exposed wires and zip tie it tight, the resistors don't heat up at all. That's how I did mine and I got no problems. If that resistor box is old maybe the resistors are messed up.
Anyways I think the way I did mine is much neater, take a look in my thread of completed install on 99' civic si. You can see the wire loom covering the resistor wires, looks OEM.

Ok theres 5 wires on the resistor box, 4 of the wires come directly from the injectors the other one is power. you get the power from the plug thats by the driver side strut tower, (it just has a cap on it that goes back into its self). Just tape off the wires that are cut that use to go to the injectors, they are no longer needed.
I hope that helps

whaaaaaat?? Ok, got the 4 wires that go to the injectors, I understand that part, but the 4 remaining wires, I just tape off, and then the red on from the resistor pack goes to where...

yes you tape off the 4 wires and the power comes from the plug on the drivers side strut that goes into its self, so pretty much you see wires go in but none come out... I think they are mostly yellow and black wires.

I copy pasted this off that site you gave me "Connect the power wire from the resistor pack to all 4 of the unused wires coming from the power connector"
that's what I did, but you told me to connect it to some other 12v power and tape off those 4 wires....?
