phaze 2 chip
as you may aready know I'm all about saving a dime, so I found this chip on ebay called phase 2 turbo chip I email the seller and he said it will retard timing 2 degrees for each psi of boost, modify fuel curves whatever that is, anyway I am gonna give it a try, think this is a good idea?

Well I just searched ebay and didn't find anything called the phaze or phase 2 chip. Sounds like all the other chips on ebay and it will probably just give to shitty gas mileage and zero power gains. I like to save as much money as possible like you, but I also like to know exactly what I am puting on my car and if it has worked well on other peoples cars. I suggest doing some research on it before buying it.

The whole Skank2/generic ITR tune for P28/Mugen race program is the same program. The mappings are alright, if you've built a nice engine with wild cams and high CR it runs pretty well, but the code is a butchershop. Half the self diagnostics have been disabled so you need a stock ECU to diagnose it. I talked with Doug @ Hondata about this Thursday, and he was telling me problems he found when tuning the Skank2 car that they couldn't figure out because of their precious race program. I wouldn't waste my money on eBay chips. Why don't you try PMing someone from this board you know has what you want? There area number of people with chip burners who want to help other people out. |

SO this is not good? but I got a chip off ebay, claim to be jun program I was told jun did not have one, but this chip allows me to use my stock d16 p28, on my b16, with a redline of 9100rpm, and vtec of 4400 rpm, runs pretty good. but if someone can burn me a turbo chip for a good deal I would love it.
