Check your PCV valve and EAVC? sensor...

messed up idle isn't becuase of the ecu usually..

maybe it is a vacumm leak?

Unless the ECU is ----, you have some other problem. Was any other work done recently? Check your sensors. Check vac leaks, check the ECU connection.

the connection is right and no other work has been done to the car the idle is at 1100 rpm i even swaped the box to make it fit on its original location and rechecked the connections and their pluged in right its probably the ecu and it wasnt runing rich when i had my other pm6 and no it is

Re:pg7 and dohc zc ?

I have had this problem on both 1.5L DX's(Dual-pnt) and my ZC with a PM6(Turboedit) and PG7 ECU

Solutions:
Dual-point was a Maniflod Gasket leak(aka VAC leak)

PM6 and PG7
Idle adjustment screw was slopping so it would slowly back itself out, speeding up the idle. The ECU looking for the TARGET idle would adjust and then over compensate dropping the revs down to 500rpm, try to correct, up to 1500rpm or so, and just kept repeating. I re-adjust the screw, used some gasket sealent to stop it from backing out, NO PROBLEM TO THIS DAY.
