peak and hold VS saturated
Quick question:
Why use peak and hold injectors and go through the trouble of adding resistors (even if it is an easy task) versus just using saturated injectors... Both seem to be same priced new.... Are the peak and hold easier to tune with or is it just the abundancy and cheap price that can be found from used dsm's? |
Re:peak and hold VS saturated
you can use saturated injectors just the same, but like you said, it's more or less the cheap abundancy of oem peak and hold injectors. obd0 ecu's are designed for peak and hold, that's why obd0 cars have the resistor boxes, so they drop right in, but obd1 (civics and integras anyways) started using saturated.

Peak and hold's are so popular around here cause DSM 450's are good for some decent power, available everywhere and can be had for $50

OK, I just wanted to know that it wasn't anything tuning related but hey for 50 bucks for some used dsm injectors and a few bucks for resistors you can't go wrong I guess.
