Issac's hatchback (the other car i turboed, the SOHC ZC) is doing the same ----...90 Si...90PM6

tried the new one that was posted and it still does it...seams a little better though it took like 2 mintutes for it to start doing it...

i remember someone a long while ago saying something about the 88 HF wiring harness being different or something anything true about that?

Well tested the chip and new ng2 bin. Since im only using the d15b7 i leaned out the vac fuel a liitle bit and copied the fuel boost map from the bin ive been using. The car idles perfectly at 750. it will try to idle a little high or low but then just moves back to 750, its great. launch control is working too! But! i havent tested it on the road yet so ill report back and see wat happens later today. thanks te2-crew

setup:
d15b7 mitsu tdo4hl
7psi
450cc
pr4 90' ecu
spools at 2 full boost at 2.5

I'm gonna walk home and try NG3 with my latest boosted maps. I was getting a high idle but it didn't bounce much with NG2. I've only got a couple hundred more lines of code to go through before I find what did it.

Turbohf, do you have a wideband? If so, what kind of AFRs are you running while idling? What kind of timing are you running? Are you positive your ignition timing is set right on the distributor? Have you tried advancing the timing 2-5 degrees at idle to smooth it out?

base timing should be at 18deg...i have a PLX WB yes... its kinda hard to tell what the AF's are when its not holding idle, it will go anywhere from rich to lean on its up and down ----...

i will go double check the timing right now...

timing is a soild 18deg....how did i get a 'soild'? i put a 10w 10ohm resistor on the iacv plug so it seem to have fixed the idle problem...

AF's are in the 14.0-14.5 range at idle...

BUT...after a hard pull (a nice 1st-second tire screatcher) it will go back to its possesed up down ----.... its holding ~1500 and will fall to 1000... when it wasnt doing it, it would hold around 1500...
