p72 chip help

1 Attachment(s)
Ok I have a p72 I am chipping.
Attachment 14813

Dont have anything hard soldered in yet.

Do I jump J1 (I have read about a j10 I cant find). I have a capacitor in c51 and c52 (have read you do not need these in a p72). The main problem is I can find no r54 do i use r52? I got the dip in and 74hc373 in I also have a 4 pin in cn2.

Any one running a p72 Do I have any of this rite? There is a lot of bad info out there on ---- forms just trying to weed threw it all.

Re: p72 chip help

Ok found this https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...?topic=83345.0 So no r54 on p72.

So I just jump j1 and use both capacitors and I should be good Rite?

Got it all in tested fine with crome. Now I am trying to datalog. Hooked up my hulog no go. popped out j12 no go. Flipped connector to ecu no go. I have the 4 pin in holes 1234 of cn2. I am using freelog. I have my com ports set rite. What are your thoughts? I am using crome 1.5

Re: p72 chip help

No one has had crome working with freelog? Should I just go crome pro and make it easy? Has anyone tried this http://forum.pgmfi.org/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=14026 using the new protocol for freelog?
