P70 ECU... ever heard of it??
i have a strange ass ecu here and im trying to figure out what its from
it says P70 its OBD1 its like 3/4 the size of a standard honda ecu it behaves similar to that of a p28 (redline, vtec etc) it came socketed stock also, it doesnt have the smaller blank chip in it. there is no jumper wire, and if i remove the chip, i get a solid CEL. i also noticed that it doesnt look for a vtec pressure switch. any 1 have any clue as to what car this may be from? |
Re:P70 ECU... ever heard of it??
Is it a JDM ecu, some of those are smaller.

Re:P70 ECU... ever heard of it??
some obd1 ecu's use an external rom like the obd0 ecu's, all you have to do is remove the stock eprom, and solder in a zif socket and you're good to go.

I had a problem with the auto po8's. Converting to 5 spd work but gettin it to run an external rom wasnt happen. Funky ecu alot of the jdm stuff is a little odd.
