Default P28 question, please help.....

I bought a chipped ECU that is a P28 for my d16z6 project. The ECU was chipped with a copied spoon chip. It was professionaly installed and so forth. Just for *****, i descided to connected to the harness in my car which is a 95 civic non vtec D15b7. It is an all stock b7, no vtec what so ever. When i turned it over, the car started and quickly died. WHat could it be? I know that is vtec ecu, but wouldn't it still be able to work, just throw a code for no vtec solenoid. Please help, I'm so lost.

The guy i bought it from used it on a d16z6 and he said it ran fine. I'm hoping there is something else wrong. What about wiring or stuff. Should i get a harness from an EX civic?

It really should plug right in a fire up. Is it throwing a costant check engine light when the service connector is jumped?
