Man, what is it with Q31. I had mine burn out as well on two diff. P28's. Im pretty sure it has to do with the O2 heater. I havent looked into what the exact part is, but I bet you could find out on PGMFI.org.

ya i dont know, im just wondering if i can get a new "transistor" or whatever the ---- it is and fix it up nice lol

yeah, i've seen a few, and from what i hear, they burn up like that from people switching the purge evap solenoid plug with the iat plug (similar plug style). there's been three 4 of these posts in the past month :-\ anyways, it's not needed and the ecu will function proplerly without replacing it, but like xenocron said, it is part number 2sd21780 from digikey

Haha, there it is again! I posted the same topic with some "fried" pictures of a customers ecu a while back. I ended up chipping it and sending it back. All works well from what I've heard.

if you dont need it, desolder it and remove it from the board, problem solved O0
