p06 ecu vtec conversion. HELP!
 

ok, i got the kits separately. so first i converted it to have vtec. hooked it up and it revs fine. then i installed the vtec chip and now i can't rev over 3000 rpm. i totally messed up and don't know where. help!

you my friend have discovered what a honda ecu does when it doesnt like your map. there is either something with the checksum or something in your ecu has a shitty solder joint it could be many things. grab some grandma readers and hold your ecu 5" from your face and look at all your traces
