Other peoples BINs work but not my own
I have been trying to get my car running on Uberdata. I followed the Base map how to , but if I use that file (basemap3 attachment) I get a solid CEL.
But I can use this BIN (B18B1LS7psi550s3in attachment) from the Xenocron list and its fine... any reasons for that ???? Only real difference I could see was that with the formula in the how to I came up with a value of 50 for my fuel multipliers but in the borrowed BIN they are set to 100 .... ???? |
Re: Other peoples BINs work but not my own

I'll try making a new base map starting with the GSR map.

So we desoldered my socketing and resocketed it. And I bought a couple chips from a local guy. Now it works with my ECU and new chip .... but like I said only with the BIN I down looaded, not my base map. I am going to try making a new map starting with the gsr BIN. Thanks again for all the help. :) |
Re: Other peoples BINs work but not my own
Ok tried the StockGSR bin along with the basemap how-to ... same deal , solid cel. ??? I have just been modifying the imported map and saving the changes for now, but I would like to make my own basemaps at some point ... any thoughts?
