ostrich and sst chip AFR's diferant
okay i read that other people had the same problem in the past but what did you guys do to fix it or has anybody figured out a way around it? i read that somebody said they just copied the tables into another map that has never been into the ostrich before, anybody try that with success?
another question, what does the "use as 27sf512" check box do in crome?

The check box for 27SF512 is for when you use the BURN1 and have an SST 27SF512 chip in it, otherwise uses the burn1 setup for Atmel 29C256.
As for the A/F being different using the ostrich and chips. I have never noticed a problem. I've used them all (ostrich, ATMEL, SST, OTP's, UV's) and have never seen a difference.

The only issue I ever have is with the idle area...I always have to richen it up about 3% after tuning and using the Ostrich.
Amtel or SST chips though I always have that issue...never found a fix or why.

found somewhat of a fix, i DL'ed a map from your site and just pasted everything but the idle into it. i guess it works for now but would really like some sort of a technical answer of why it does this from the developers of both the ostrich and crome.

Re: ostrich and sst chip AFR's diferant
hrm, i sort of have the sma issue but mine is an electrical problem. my wideband reads 13 and ecucontrol says 13-14 ish
but if i turn on my headlights, my wideband reads 13 and ecucontrol says 10, haha.
this is because i must have installed my wideband wrong and did not use the capacitors, so i'm no help.
