Ostrich emulator question
If I am running an Ostrich for real time programming is there any need for a chip burner at all? I know it'll be great for tuning but once I've got a map made can I permanently hook up the Ostrich to the ZIF socket and keep it in my glove box or something?

Re: Ostrich emulator question
The ostrich will become the chip. You can mount it permanently and just have easy access to the usb cable for tuning. I had one and I loved it.

Re: Ostrich emulator question
the ostrich has a battery in it. when the battery is used up, it won't work anymore untill you switch the battery. That would suck if it hapens to you in the middle of nowhere.

Tune it nicely and then send your bin to someone with a burner.
