Oh Crap! lots of problems

Well First off I need to know if this is correct. I chipped my p28 ecu and I had an O2 code on there when we did it. We put in 450's. What I think is happening is it is running in "safe mode"/"limp mode" and useing another map that has the stock 240's. It runs super rich. Won't idle worth ----. Maybe around 100 rpm. On this problem I need to know if what I think is correct. New problem. I am rewiring my ecu plug so it all goes straight to the obd1 plugs and not through the hasport harness. I can't figure out the O2 wiring. I know that people say that the wires go to d14 and ---- but it doesn't work. Can someone give me list of good conversion charts to work from. I looked and found some but I think that they suck. I know that sounds like a newbie question but I am new to chipping. Thanks guys.

first of all, when you what car is this in?
second of all, you "chipped" your p28. what are you running in it now? do you have all of your O2 sensors?
if your "chip" does not have an uberdata rom on it scaled to your 450CC injectors, your car will not run properly. it's dumping almost twice as much fuel as the ECU expects.

as for harness conversions, if you have the hasport one, why not just copy it?

Its in a 91 crx. I have a base map for the uberdata with 450's that was type in. But is also runs with an o2 code. Yeah I have my o2 sensor I just can't figure out how to wire it so it will work. I have tried for a long time now.

ok, so you have a four wire O2 sensor?

should be able to look at a pinout diagram for the ECU, and match colour/function to itself...

I don't understand what's so hard..

is the MIL throwing a code 1? if it's bothering you that much, just disable closed loop.

Yeah on the program it says disable o2 heater. Is that open loop? Or is there a fucncion that says disable closed loop? This would be much help to me. I don't know why I can't get the o2 sensor to work. I think it hates me.

Re:Oh Crap! lots of problems

disable 02 heater is just that.. disable the heater. there will be something that says "disable closed loop" or "enable open loop".

You need to have the newest version of Uberdata to do this.

Re:Oh Crap! lots of problems

Yeah I just downloaded it yesterday and found out how to do this. But now I have to finish rewiring my ecu. Damn it. All this would have been fixed now if the dyno guy would have listened to me. He said that he did disable my o2. But it said disable o2 heater. Not disable closed/open loop. I knew there was a difference. He wasn't useing the latest version. He had 1.64 or something like that. Damn it. Thanks guys. If I have anymore problems I will repost.
