OBD2B w 8psi will not rev passed 2-2.5k RPM w obd1 ECU and harness
 

OKay here is the deal.

I have a 2000 Integra that i boosted last year. I been running the original ECU and hardly hit boost cause I wanted to get a jumper harness and chipped obd1 ECU. Well I finally got it but when I hook it up my car wont let me rev passed 2500 RPMs...

I have tried other harnesses and ECUs.

the ECUs run fine in my obd1 car and the harness worked on a DOHC Vtec motor, but when it comes to my car it acts this way.

Im going to check my TPS voltage with the OBD1 ecu tomorrow. BUt Ive been told that if it runs fine witht he original ECU its most likely not the TPS.

I have been searching all over trying to find out what is wrong but there is no answer that can point inthe right direction.

Its a PR4 OBD1 ECU on stock basemap w/ 8psi using Crome...

And I dont see how i can get it tuned if it wont rev passed 2500...

Please help me out..

Update...

When I first start the car with the jumper and obd1 ecu it will rev fine at idle, but once I go into gear it stop at 2500... And when i turn the ignition off and the turbo timer is still running I can rev it with no problem once i turn they key back on BAM 2500 rev limit... WTF??

I would start with disconecting the turbo timer
