OBD2B to OBD1 conversion and CEL 6 (Engine coolant temperature high/low circuit)

This is my first post so bare with me. I ran a search but nothing seems to pertain to my problem.
https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...action=search2

I tried to convert my 2000 LS to OBD1 to see if any problems might arise. Well I have a problem, there's a check engine light for the ECT temperature circuit. To my knowledge the OBD2 diagnostic trouble codes would be either P0117 (low circuit input) or P0118 (high circuit input). My car runs fine with the original OBD2 ECU, no codes. When I disconnected the ECT sensor there's no initial CEL, when I start the car that's when the check light comes on. I'm guessing my ECU ---- itself but I know for a fact that it was in working order when it was given to me. Before I did this conversion I made sure the battery was disconnected.

Here's what I'm trying to set up…
My car: 2000 LS.
Conversion harness: brand new Skunk2 harness
ECU: virgin P75 92-95 OBD1 LS/RS

There should be two wires, try switching them. Every honda has an ECT sensor on it... ::)

^ Thanks, I'll remember your informative post when I'm looking for someone to chip my ECU. :l

So I'm looking to switch two unknown wires from an unknown location. This should be no problem because of my phychic abilities.
