which obd1 ecu to use?

i'm debating about jumping into using uberdata on my obd2b car (2000 civic dx-non vtec). which obd1 ecu do i use, or can i use any of them as long as it's 5 speed?

already went through the faq, but it's not clear that the ecu is specific or not...it just says that they can be used.

the obd1 ecu for a dx is a P06. I believe the alternative (1.6L sohc vtec) uses a P28. However Uberdata's native format is Integra LS and GSR roms, so I guess as long as you have the wiring harness for it any will work... ???

any OBD1 ecu will require some rewireing of your d16y7.

If you get a P06 for a standard the only thing you will have to do is the standard stuff to install the socket and related items. You can use an automatic and just convert it. Ask on Uberdata board they will tell you hpw.

p06 i picked up two at $20 each, check local first(mine wanted $100 each) if not ebay is great. p06 is out of 92-95 civic dx's
