after tackleing a z6/obd1 swap i'm going to say stay obd0 and use the 1wire vtec code.

i've been pulling my hair out with this ----; but my computer is fried so bleh; bad deal....

keep your possible problems as few as possible so stay obd0.

unless you wanna play with obd1. I have the parts to make an obd0-obd1 conversion harness for pretty cheap and enough stuff to make basemaps and whatnot else.

power is 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999% tuning

obd0 = less hassle
obd1 = arguably more stable and a more WORKING features and a possible pain to install; butwith a good computer and a comversion harness it should just be plug and play.

research them both more; dont rely on what people say

it doesn't even run yet; i've had electrical problems; thought it was the distro; replaced that; didnt help; now i'm pretty sure its the p28 i bought that is fried
and the son of a bitch shipping the NEW computer has taken nearly 2 weeks to send it so its taking FOREVER.

but when i had my a6 turbo'd even with busted ring lands and 12psi it ran awesome; power was there and spool was minimal with that little turbo; though if i had a bigger downpipe and less restrictive intake and exhaust plumbing then spool time would be none.
