obd0 po6 use

Alright, one of the last of a few dumb ass questions. I've heard that you can run a po6 on a 91 accord ex, someone told me that everything hooks up fine. That's great, so to run boost, i need to get a po6, and download turboedit to it?? I've tried to research the ecu in turbo setups, but just keep getting confused. Do I need to get an aftermarket chip to burn the turboedit to? And then I need a base map to increase fuel levels for increased boost?? Anything would help.

No I believe those Accords actually use OBD1 ecus as they are elctrically compatible even though it is a 91.You need to use a OBD1 program such as Uberdata or Crome. You get a chipped ecu and then download the program of choice. You will need a burner to burn the map or bin you made onto the chip.Hit up Xenecron for a chipped ecu and burner etc.I dont know what ecu you are suppose to use in the Accord.I would assume a P06 but maybe a PR4.You need to go hit up PGMFI.org and do some resarch or PM Xenecron and he will sell you everything you need as I assume he will probably know what you use in the Accord.

Easy way to tell if your car is OBD1 or OBD0... look at the plugs on your ECU. If you have 3 individual grey plugs, it's OBD1. If you have 2 black plugs and a white plug, it's OBD0.

Veeery simple.

your 91 accord is obd1. youll need to chip a p06 and use uberdata. no need for crome unless you want to spend more money.
