doesn't hasport sell a wiring harnes that converts obd1 to pre obd. i thought i heard my brother talk about how he was going to copy the design.
any info on this?

What would be the purpose in going to OBD0?

I hope it's not so you can run a "chipped" ECU. You can chip OBD1 ECUs as well.

No, but, I didn't know that is why he wanted to downgrade his wiring system.

There are other, cheaper, alternatives. Like, if using Ubertegs software. Think about the price in wiring harness, typically, $150 or more, and the price of Blakes software.. it's cheaper to use Uberchips or whatever it's called.

He might also think about using a map scaling device, and Blake FREE N/A version of Uberchips. That way, all he has to do is chip is current ECU, and modify fuel and ignition maps for the scaled MAP voltage, and run larger injectors. Total cost? $60 for injectors, $10 in parts to chip ECU, and ~$20 for Joseph's MapHack device.. $90 for fully tunable boost control.

Still cheaper than the harness itself. ::)

heh thank you ef i didnt know there was obd1 tunning software that didnt cost you your firstborn son. I should really start paying attention to the stickies :D now to learn this whole fuel and timing tables these crazy ppl are talking about :P
