zdyne gold is gangster imo. Thing for being 10+years old was way ahead of its time and they actually lowered there prices

What obd0 ecu are you going to be chipping? Pr3's and pw0's are pretty much all BRE is useful for, although I've never tried say a pm6 or pr4 in it...not sure if it's possible. BRE is the way to go for obd0 vtec ecu's...many many more options than TE :y

Ecu is a virgin PR4. It gonna be a straight LS B18A1 non vtec Turbo.

So what is this zdyne gold. never heard of it. Anyone know a website I could lookin more in depth to it?

A pr4 is mostly TE territory.

Re: OBD-0

Ok. thats what i have been planning on using. I guess since thats what is usually used for my ecu there is plenty of ppl to answer my questions if i needed them when the time comes.

haha. yea google,...heard about that.....you know it actually works...who woulda figured

^^^ What was the conclusion that your going to use?

Re: OBD-0

oh sorry about that.. Im gonna use TE. I found some basemaps on the BIN file depository close to the setup im using... So the initial tune to just drive around til it got tuned would be fine, using the basemaps..

Re: OBD-0

xenocron how much are your basic chipping kits. I wanna be able to chip my on ecu so if one goes wrong i can get a new ecu n chip it, w/o sending it off.

also is this all I need to convert to OBD-1 I might buy this, eventually

I prefer BRE if it's for obd0 pr3's, but all the rest (of the obd0 family) belong to TE.
