ob2b-obd1 problems

Hey everyone, it's been a while not posting in this forum but i got my ecu harness today and ran into a problem. I need your help!

I have a obd2b d14z2 engine (from europe) that im using a p28 ecu with ostrisch and got the harness now. I had previously made a basemap for my car and tried to start with that bin and it didnt work. So i decided to use one of the bins in Xenocron's bin directory (y7oldithink.bin). The car started right away with this file and idled fine at 1500 rpm or so (d14z2 has the same intake manifold as a d16y7 and has the 3 wire iacv so i need to change that for proper idling). But after a few minutes of idling the car died and wouldnt start again. When back to my stock ecu and the car started and idled fine so i decieded to give another go to my p28. When i turned the key on the CEL light lit and didnt go off as it should after a few secs, and also i wasnt hearing the fuel pump - click noise anymore. Tried my stock ecu again and had no such problems. What could be wrong anyone have any idea?

d14z2 with 42 48 t3, 450 injectors, afc hack etc.. but it doesnt matter cause the ecu got toasted.
i opened it up after i posted here and realized the biggest capacitor sort of exploded.(220uF 35V one)
I'll try to replace the capacitor and see if it still works but still dont have any idea why this happened.
anyone got any idea?

Alright found out the problem. It's just my luck :-\, the ecu was from xeno and was sitting around for a while.
the caps tend to age and need replacement after some time.. take a look at this;

it's the same cap as the one in above link, seems to be a common problem. My pcb doesnt look so bad as the pic in that page but the pcb got abit blackish on one of the pins of the cap i hope it didnt ---- up the board.

Problem solved. Changed the capacitor and had to use some wire to solder two pins cause the pcb around that part was toasted. Works perfectly well now
