Default O2 disable in crome, do i still need to wire in a 4 wire?

built Z6 going in a civic CX

I'm going to be running crome and I'm going to disable the O2 sensor. Do I still need to wire up the 4-wire O2 or can I just say ---- having an O2 sensor at all. Will it throw a code? I'm just wondering if the O2 disable in crome kills off the O2 completely or if it just kills the O2 heater or if it stops reading the O2, etc... I guess I'm just trying to save myself 5 minutes of wiring.

it disables the o2 routine and heater then runs off the maps. you'll have to tune your part throttle maps a little better, but other than that no o2 is needed.

so do i have to wire one in at all? will i get a code? I have no intentions of ever running off the factory o2, I'm just going to tune to be in open loop forever.
