O2 disable in crome, do i still need to wire in a 4 wire?
 

built Z6 going in a civic CX

I'm going to be running crome and I'm going to disable the O2 sensor. Do I still need to wire up the 4-wire O2 or can I just say ---- having an O2 sensor at all. Will it throw a code? I'm just wondering if the O2 disable in crome kills off the O2 completely or if it just kills the O2 heater or if it stops reading the O2, etc... I guess I'm just trying to save myself 5 minutes of wiring. :6

it disables the o2 routine and heater then runs off the maps. you'll have to tune your part throttle maps a little better, but other than that no o2 is needed.

so do i have to wire one in at all? will i get a code? I have no intentions of ever running off the factory o2, I'm just going to tune to be in open loop forever.

No need to wire it. No CEL with it disabled.
