noob turboedit question

Default noob turboedit question

hey all, new here and to turbo, looking to turbo my crx,(im picking it up this weekend) been doing some research, i think im gonna use turboedit for management, but here's my question, and sorry about it being so dumb but, how do i connect my laptop to my ecu, and get the bin.? files i think it is into my ecu? any help would be appriciated, please dont hate, im new to this

go to xenocrons website.or pgmfi.org.save the bins to your home pc or laptop.i assume you already have turboedit in your pc.edit the bin that close to your setup.burn to a chip.you will need to mod your ecu to put in a different chip.i suggest you read the writeups at pgmfi.org.

Damn, please! Search a little bit! You have a lot to do before turboing your car! If you didnt know that you have to chip your ECU, you begin very, very far!

go to xenocrons bin dic. there alot of good basemaps u can use(ive used many of his turbo base maps with no problems) and what do u mean how to hook up your ecu to your laptop?are u wanting to datalogg or real time tune?ethier way both moates and xenocron have what u need.like the other guy said i would also suggest go over to pgmfi.org and reading all u can heres a link.
