no fuel or spark
 

So my 90 hb with a z6 stoped running one day and iam not gettin fuel or spark. changed the dizzy and main rely. when i turn the key on the main rely goes nuts and just clicks chekc engine light clicks with the main rely. check all the fuses grounds the are good. the car will crank over

Any one have and ideas? bad fuel pump?

if you have no fuel or spark suspect the ECU. do you have an alarm? immobilizer?

check the 5v signals to your various sensors and check all 12v and grounds to the ECU...if you have a spare ECU, try it out.

check if there are spark .. or with a multimeter check if your fuel pump recieves current.. if this recieved and there are spark plug , you will know what to do ..

i have tryed another ecu and it still no fuel or spark there is also no alarm on the car iam going to check some power leads and stuff i have a ground kit for it and they are all good so i wouldnt think that would be the problem

could be a worn out ignition switch.

did you check the spark plug? did you check if your fuel pump has current? :S test with other fuel pump..

What's up with all the my car won't start threads lately...... of people that don't even properly check everything first.

The main relay is supposed to click. Does the fuel pump prime?? Did you remove the plugs, connect the wire, crank over the motor and see if it sparks or not?

Did you pull all of your fuses one at a time and look at them? check the ecm fuse under the hood.

i have check all the fuses one by one and with a volt meter i know the main rely clicks but what about million times per second? also the cel and ecu will blink with the main rely i have tryed to switch main relys and ecus i checked the voltage at the pump and its 6.7 volts and i have switched dizzys all ready. i checked the ground from the rely to the ecu and its good. ceck the plugs i also check for spark with a spark plug and gorund it out on the valve cover bolt. still nothing the fuel pump does not prime and dizzy does not cause the plugs to spark the car will crank and crank all day long
