No fuel or spark
 

I just got done puttin on the snail, and went to start the car up and nothing. I double and triple checked everything, and nothing. I checked the spark, non and the fuel, none. I have a 99EX wiht anm obd2->obd1 wiring harness running a P06 ecu with uberdata. Could this problem be from the ecu? My CEL is on and so is my SRS light. The car will crank and ----, just not that final push to start. I think its either the ECU or the harness. Xenocron if you read this, message me cuz if its the harness I have to talk to your buddy that made it for me. And Im sending my ECU back to kevin this week so he can double check the map on it. Someone also said it might be a bad chip? ???

All of the above are possible. Bad chip, fucked harness, or bad ecu will do that. Your car is an EX right? Is that P06 converted to VTEC? Thats not why it wouldn't start but I'm just curious.

If the wiring harness was bad, would the car even crank? Like if I took out the ECU and tried to start it, would it even crank or do anytying? like the dash lights and ----?

Should be drivable as long as you don't hit boost. Try to start it with your stock ECU. That way you know it's not mechanical and realize it IS in fact the ECU.

Your stock ECU wont run the car without removing the larger injectors. You can disconnect the waste gate arm so it doesn't boost.

so it wont even start with the stock ecu? i was just gonna try and start it to narrow down the problems...im not gonna drive it or even touch the gas (its still on ramps, hahaha)

your car wont run at all with 450's in it. It will just foul the plugs and flood.

ive started my car with 450s and nothing else...happened a few times when my old smc500 would just decide to not turn on
