Default newb with uber...CEL 22

k i burned a chip with a stock p28 program to run on my stock z6 motor. (i want to tune this and get the hang of this ---- before im boosted) i did everything that i thought was correct. put the chip in the ecu and right off the bat i get a CEL. so i shut the car down plug in the jumper to check the code. i get something weird though...i get 2 long, 2 short flashes (code 22 vtec oil switch) and then the light goes solid and doesnt shut off. what does that tell you? i cliped the j1 jumper and everything is back to normal so im assuming that its something i did in uber to cause this? am i right? any suggestions

Do you have a VTEC pressure switch hooked up correctly in your car?

is there a VAFC installed?

yea its all stock right now...no afc. the funny thing is that when i cut the j1 jumper..no CEL. so then the vtec oil switch must be functioning properly. this is not a swapped car its a 94 civic 4dr ex with a z6. so that leads me to believe its something im doing in my .bin?

On my non-vtec setup, i was getting a weird code 22. I believe it was a battery/voltage/alternator issue.

I believe I still have alternator issues, but I replaced the battery and the code hasnt come back since.

Who knows sometimes though...

Is VTEC engaging and disengaging properly?

Are you using Uber or Crome?
