Guys I recently picked up a p75 to replace the p06 I had due to a datalogging issue with it. I decided to change from using uber 1.8 to the new 1.7 final version. What I did was open a stock gsr bin (since there is no ls option and supposedly you are to use the gsr now), import p75, then make the little changes like injector size, rev limits, disable vtec stuff, etc. all the while saving the bin after most every change. I then cut and pasted the fuel low and ignition low values from my uber 8 map. Any problem with this?
The car will run for a few secs and then stall out. So there must be something I have fudged. If I take the chip from the p06 running the uber 8 .bin and slap it in the p75 everything is fine again.
Did I make the map incorrectly with the new 1.7?
I noticed the fuel modifiers were all at 100 on the stock gsr bin and I was running them at 60 previously. I changed the fuel cut value for the map sensor from 24 to 14 also.
I haven't touched the "ECT" "IAT" and "Closed" portions of the new 1.7. Could that be my problem or should the values suffice enough to start and run the car? I'm honestly not familiar with adjusting those values anyhoo.

when you change your injector size, it'll give you a recommended modifier. use that. for all.

the fuel modifier relates to injector pulse. if you use oversized injectors, you have to modify pulse. one way is through the pulse width in the table, and another way is using what can be compared to in obd0 as the injector multiplier. basically, it's a final calculation. takes the pulse width, multiplies it by the modifier, and there you have your final injector pulse width.

big injector with stock pulse width, and you start flooding.

Should I have pasted in the fuel and ignition values before changing the injector size to 450cc? I did it the other way around.
Anyone else have a clue what the hell is going on?

You really don't have to paste anything over. Or shouldn't have to. Just open stock gsr, and import the P75 into it. Turn off all the sensors.

I think that new version has the new fuel modifiers in it, and you MUST start with the GSR map because of this. Honestly I found it to be a pain in the ass, and I just use the old 1.70 version and just put all the new features in it.

I was referring to pasting in the values from my uber 1.8 map. It's a semi-tuned map so I know the values are ok for now until I get a chance to tune again.

Had this samething happen to me today...it's the modifiers. Suggested for me was 53 but when I had set it at that the car kept stalling and when it did finally run, it ran rough as hell then went lean. I went back to the modifiers and switched them over too 100...car ran smooth as silk.

I thought they fixed the modifiers?
