No cursing, no throwing tools across the garage, no drama...
thats me btw...and i must say, i used crome free for a bit, and was so frustrated cuz the ECT settings would never work on my car. so i switched to neptune, and damn its nice! haha, i mean for example today i just learned how to use the A/F logging feature. now that is sweet! no more looking at rpms, then boost gauge, then wideband. just simply drive, and let neptune log all your parameters. when i say all, i really mean ALL your parameters, from: ect, to iat, vss, voltage, eld, o2, blah blah, the list goes on. i would highly reccomend it to anyone.

at first i thought the price was kinda steep, but now that i think about it, its freaken cheap, feature-wise.

Speaking of functionality, Hondata's S Manager software is horrible. After using CROME for so long, the hondata software is just complete junk. Just simple datalogging and editing tables is really bad.

Another problem I keep having when tuning the S300's is that I can't use my inverter to power my laptop and datalog at the same time. Tried it so many times. with datalogging active, flip the power switch on the inverter and datalogging freezes. Tried it in my own car too. Same issue.

I have messed around with Neptune a few times. Way different than CROME. After a while it's is nice though. Pretty good, but I have to say that CROME has by far the most user friendly interface.

ive seen very good power on good turbo/NA engines tuned with neptune, but too with crome PRO and FREE and of course with UD..

so just learn how to tune with software what you prefer and practice!
Just geek out on whatever you decide to run, Frank, and ask about a bazillion questions. Tune stock vehicles. Learn about reading plugs. Be annoying and fill my, xeno's, leed's, etc, etc, etc etc etc[awnklsalk;nsaklsd's inboxes with 1,001 little questions and compare the responses you get from one of us to all the others and think about why you think each and every one of us is right/wrong.

You'll do fine.
