Ive heard good and bad about english. One of the head guy's at english is good friends with one of my good friends and constantly tell's him that his crx does not require a restricter valve for the oil to the turbo. And hes gone through 3 turbo's by blowing seals and i keep telling him, and he keeps saying english sais i don't need it blah blah blah. He also tells me alot of other things they tell him, ..... let's just say, im not completely impressed. I have seen impressive stuff, but in the honda realm, i don't know if they are all there.

Ive owned both crx and ae86. Crx is the superior chassis, even in RWD form. AE86 has horrible chassis flex issues stock, you can feel it in the seat of your pants. Its kind of unnerving actually.

Garretts require restrictors if the turbo develops smoking problems because the engine has too much oil pressure for it. Link your friend to Garrett's own site, www.turbobygarrett.com, and let him read it himself. Then steer him to Stevemode for a restrictor.

I literally have showed him that multiple times jd. hes running like stock dsm turbo's, i think he is running a 16g now or sometihng. Last turbo it was smoking so bad that when he pulled his intercooler piping off oil poured out. lol
I have respect for english racing, there is impressive stuff coming out of there, but for going through 4 turbo's now, and they keep telling him he doesn't need a restricter valve, that is retarded.

It's not hard to make a lot of power by buying/pushing top of the line parts. being the total package is another level of refinement.
