Default NEED HELP TURBO GUYS..........WHAT SHOULD I DO????

Hey guys im not a noob to the turbo world at least with my car, but i have a bit of trouble with my girls car....... I bought her a small turbo kit for Christmas but it didnt come with a fuel management system, my cousin who has a boosted 2k2 non vtec civic told me that that i should just run a FMU and call it a day for the time being. What would be the best Engine Management for her car rigth now with that set up?? Also she will be running a internal wastegate set up, the guy that i bought this kit from said that it is set a 7lb right now everything in the kit is new. Is there anyway i can turn the boost down if i need to and is 7lb to much for a D15B7?? Here is her set up for the moment.

Car: 1992 Honda Civic DX 4 Door
Engine: D15B7 non-vtec
Kit: IHI Turbo (rebuilt), Tube manifold, Internal wastegate (set at 7lb), 1st gen DSM BOV, Vortec FMU

I read the FAQ on EMS so i know whats the best and whats the worst i just dont know what should be ran for this set up. I was thinking the FMU would be fine for now. So what do yall think I was thinking about getting her a SAFC with bigger injectors not really a good way to tune but its something.... also does anyone know what size injectors does the stock 92 dx civic come with and if boost 7lb how big should she go.......

Fmu should be good to start, but i wouldn't push the motor for to long underboost with it, even at 7lbs.

If you lower the lbs a bit ya would be a tad safer, i personaly wouldn't go over 5-6 at most with a fmu. I've seen the destruction and pictures online. But some people are runnin 10lbs with no problems so who knows.

as for the motor... Motor should be able to do 10 if tunned right for a daily driver with no problems.

sorry bro, you can alwayse turn the boost up higher with a boost controller. However, you cannot turn the boost down lower than the stock wastegate is set for(due to the diaphram in the actuator). The only way to lower the boost is to not get into it all the way. As far as stock injector sizing goes, she's only got 220cc injectors right now, I'd personally(and do)run the DSM 450cc's

as long as she's got the 'softer' style injector gromets on the lower side of the injecors then the DSM's will slide right in(it may take a dab of oil since they are TIGHT), and if worst comes to worst and she has the 'harder' lower gromet then you may need to take a dremel and just bore them out a tad to fit em. In my 93 and 94 Z6 motor's i had the soft ones and didn't need to.

Can't use 450 injectors on a stock ecu or it will flood the motor and will not run. fmu on 220 injectors should be ok for 5-6 psi, 7 wouldn't be on the high end and again don't push it. I personaly would suggest changing to 450 injectors also but engine managment like chrome/uberdata/vafc would be required if you do.

Install the fmu and start searching forums for engine managment options, there are a ton out there.
