need help with this turbo edit predicament

ok, so i downloaded the new version of TE and the pr4 map that goes along with it. I myseld, own a ZIF socketed pr4 ecu. i open the program, open the pr4 map, whalla everything comes up all good. next, i go to the top menu bar and click tools, then map import/export. (my main goal here is to make a map for my pr4 ecu that has stock p28 fuel and timing tables) i downloaded from somewhere else, a map that has stock z6 timing and fuel tables, but its not for turbo edit (at least you cant directly open it from the open menu it is a BIN file however). when i import that into turbo edit using map import/export and having the stock pr4 tables already loaded, it changes them all to different setting, im assuming the p28 settings. is this map now a p28 map suitable for use in a pr4 ecu. sorry for the long post.

the fuel and ignition tables from a p28, and from any obd1 computer, will not be compatible with your pr4 if it is obd0. there are obd1 pr4's, but turbedit itself will not handle the obd1 fuel and ignition table values.

they are different sizes and cannot really be resized.

so no, I don't think you can do that.

Re:need help with this turbo edit predicament

well it was a program written for an obd0 car i believe, it was posted on pgmfi.org when i asked if anyone could post a p28 map for me. the thing is, TE will only open it in advanved mode and i dont know the correct numbers it wants me to punch in. so im pretty sure this is for obd0, i was kind of hoping what i did (importing it to through the pr4) was a way of automatically having the correct numbers for the map.
