need help ecu will not work

yes cut the jumper and it will return to stock

so if the ecu works than do you think that it was a bad chipping job

usually if its a bad chipping job the ecu wont work at all.. is the chip in backwards or is there stray solder anywhere?? if you cut the jumper and all is normal then send it back to whoever chipped it and give them a swift kick in the nuts

Sounds like you have a solid cel, when you jump the service connector there will be no code, just a solid cel. This means that it is ecu related in all likelihood. Cut the jumper and see if the cel goes away. Also, if you jump the connector while having no cels, the cel will also be solid, so make sure that there is a cel with the connector unjumped first.
