need help datalogging with uberdata.

I need to know how to setup my computer to data log with uber. Such as the port and what configurations i need to make. My chipped ecu has the serial datalog port, not the nokia cords or such. Someone please let me know what i need to do, otherwise i can't everything else under control.

Well if you've got the Nokia cable to datalog you need the Nokia Driver too. If your running a serial type there will be no need for the driver. It all depends on how your laptop is setup, but go to your device manager and click on ports. Figure out which COM port your cable (USB or Serial) is hooked up to and right click on it's properties. Then go to port settings and change the Beaud rate to 38400 (this may vary with different laptops but 38400 is where it works for me).
Then you may have to restart the computer for the settings to be changed. After that, open up Uberdata, open up the .bin file your trying to datalog with (I believe in v1.70 it needs to be the GSR.bin or created using the GSR.bin). Click on the dataloging tab and select the sensors you wish to monitor. Then click your COM port and start your engine. You should be datalogging like a mad scientist now :D Just be sure the chip you have in your ecu was created using a version of Uberdata that has datalogging.
