need a decent dyno.

So I go to a local speed shop for (furrin cars) I asked what they use to tune and he says Hondata, said he never heard of TE and that he charges $150hr. Is that too much to pay?
Don't know what to do at this point.

I'm in Ga but very close to the Jacksonville, Fla area........... anybody know a dyno spot? that works with TE?

shops don't generally tune DIY PGMFI Rom editors...they're free and shops dont like stuff that can't charge you retail for.

so how do you guys get dyno time? Do you just pay for the slot and tune yourself? If so I'm a long way off from that, my skills don't warrant $150 bucks an hour.

The shop I help out gets $175 an hour to tune on the dyno and will learn and tune whatever you bring them. The cars are lined up 6 deep behind everyday. Mostly corvettes.

This guy wasn't interested in learning anything, especially when he referred me to H-T to research TE and find an authorized TE tuner in my area.

I wish I had a dyno shop willing to fiddle with what I have.

Check the link below for a tuner in/around your area. Send him a PM and make arrangement for a tuning session. If all you need is a conservative tune (not trying to max power by tuning the timing), a street tune will be good for you.

Damn I just checked out the tuner directory and the one thing everyone had in common was...........Ostrich. Just when I thought I had everything Willem Dual Power, Zeitronix WB, Laptop. I am getting tired of running back into the house to burn a new chip everytime I change something though.

I'm going to hit Midnight Racer X for some help unless he charges an arm an leg.

Thanks for the link StanB
